ESN Sea Battle has been taking brave international students on an adventure for nearly 20 years. Since its inception in 2005, Sea Battle has visited almost all countries around the Baltic Sea, welcomed world-famous artists – and made history as the most international dance party on planet Earth (yes, we’re in the Guinness Book of World Records).
This isn’t just a cruise; it’s a legendary journey of epic proportions. We bring together youth and students from all over the world and provide an experience like no other. Imagine a cruise ship for over 2000 people, all there for Sea Battle. Then add fun activities, culinary experiences from the Baltic sea, new cities to explore and parties on a whole new level.

Our Activities
Not an ordinary cruise
Here’s some of what you can expect onboard ESN Sea Battle!
Epic parties
With multiple clubs of differing sizes on board of the ship and famous, international DJs coming to Sweden for the first time only at ESN Sea Battle, the parties are sure to be remembered for a long time. Let go of all inhibitions and dance as much as you can during the Power Hour.
City Tours
Join the pre-event and explore the “Venice of the North” Stockholm through a Viking Scavenger Hunt. You can also book the guided tour through the Baltic city of Tallinn. In addition, you also have the opportunity to go on a food tour with options suggested by us.
Goodie bags
Every participant of the ESN Sea Battle gets a Goodie Bag with small gifts and trinkets that will forever remind you of the extraordinary experience.
Games
Meet new people in the Speed Friending Event, prove your niche knowledge in Pub Quizzes, become a warrior of the sea in the Sea Trials or compete against other teams in Jeopardy.
Food and drinks
We have 5 restaurants and 4 bars onboard – Each with a unique vibe, and with food and drinks from different cuisines.
To start your journey off right, we suggest the ship’s Dinner Buffet, offering a wide range of food and drinks. Best of all? It’s included with your ticket on the first evening!
Music & Karaoke
No matter if you are the next Adele or prefer to sing to your shower head only, a singalong session with fellow Sea Battle participants is bound to be fun.
Dance classes
Whether you want to learn hip hop, shuffling or twerking, you will be able to during our onboard dance classes. Or you can start the morning off right with Morning Yoga.
Safe Battle &
Drink More Water
ESN Sea Battle is safe for everyone and promotes safe partying for all participants, so everyone can enjoy themselves. The Drink More Water initiative makes sure that everyone drinks responsibly and stays hydrated.
